2025 was the year SH Partnerships firmly planted our stake in the ground. From inception in September to swift active delivery today, we have translated our vision into a credible presence in the housing sector, focused firmly on delivering quality affordable homes and stronger communities across our region.
This year has been about proving that a partnership-focused, technically capable developer rooted in Shropshire can help unlock stalled sites, de-risk complex schemes and bring much-needed homes forward in a challenging market. So, how does 2026 look so far?
Growing the Pipeline & Breaking Ground
We end 2025 working on 6 new sites in planning, spanning 358 homes. That means hundreds of future households who will benefit from well-designed, energy-efficient homes – and partners who can plan with greater confidence, knowing schemes are being progressed with technical rigour and clear communication. Alongside that, p3 developments have already commenced on site, reflecting that SH Partnerships is not just filling a pipeline, but actively delivering.
Expanding Our Expertise
Scaling requires the right people. In 2026, five new experts will join us in planning, technical, commercial and operational delivery, bolstering our capacity to support the growing pipeline. To deliver on our commitments, we need the right people as well as the right projects, ensuring partners always have clear points of contact and proactive support.
Our refreshed team will also soon have a place to call home, as we look to move into our own office space.. Having a space to plan the next generation of partnership housing is a statement of purpose, and one we can’t wait to get started. You’ll be the first to know when we’re in, the kettle will be boiled!
Committing to Community & Culture
As we grow, we are determined to stay grounded in the communities we serve. In 2026, we will be launching volunteer days, giving our team time and space to support local causes and community projects. As a community-driven operator, we’re excited to get amongst it in the new year and give something back beyond the red line of the site.
We are also taking part in the Dragon Boat challenge in aid of Severn Hospice. It’s a chance for the SHP team and our partners to come together for a brilliant local cause, reflect the human side of our culture, and hopefully raise a significant sum for a charity that means a great deal to people across our region.
What’s Next?
So, what does 2026 look like for SH Partnerships? In short: more delivery, deeper partnerships and continued focus on quality and social value. We will be working hard to move schemes from planning to site, to bring new partnership opportunities forward, and to keep navigating a complex landscape with clarity and honesty.
For registered providers , local authorities, our ambition is to be the partner you can rely on: technically strong, straightforward to deal with, and committed to creating places people genuinely want to live in.
Preparing for 2026
Over the festive period, our offices will be closed from 12pm on 23rd December and will reopen on 2nd January. During this time, we will be taking a moment to pause, reflect and recharge ahead of what promises to be a busy and exciting 2026.
